Our readings are always free and open to the public. We usually have a featured poet to begin
the afternoon, and there is always an open mic for everyone to share their original poems or favorite poems. The Flying Bridge
resturant sits on the bluffs overlooking the Oceanside Harbor, the mouth of the San Luis Rey River, and the Pacific Ocean.
We usually invite people to stay for no-host food and conversation with the featured poet and each other in the dining room
after the reading. Sunset Poets is a relaxed and welcoming place for new poets to read their work in public. Hosted by Dick Eiden and Clifton King.
